UK Look Ahead
4th March 2018

Less cold

The thaw has well and truly started now, especially for southern areas. This trend to less cold conditions will spread north as we head through the first couple of days of the new week.
Scotland and Northern Ireland hold onto the cold longest with still some snow around Monday.
The rest of the week will remain cool with bands of showers meandering around the UK in light winds.
Later in the week a deep area of low pressure moves up from the south west, strong winds and rain moving into the south west, depending on the orientation of the low, there a snow potential once more for central and northern areas next weekend
