UK Look Ahead
19th August 2018

Northerly incoming!

The weather pattern which dominated most of the summer is reversing and as such so are the conditions over the UK. The bank holiday weekend will see temperatures well below average as the heatwave becomes a distant memory.

Monday starts wet in central areas, bright and fresh to the north, muggy and cloudy to the south. A cold front will then be responsible for bringing a band of rain south during mid week , still muggy and warm ahead of the front which will finally clear the south coast on Thursday.
Behind this north westerly winds set in bringing cooler conditions in strong winds and showers.

The weekend and last few days of summer stays very cool with coastal showers
