UK Look Ahead
22nd July 2018

East West split!

Whilst high pressure over Scandinavia dominates the overall pattern, keeping most places dry and sunny, maybe even hot (30+) in the south east, Atlantic lows will start to threaten western and north western areas.

So, the west will have a mainly cloudy but warm week, patchy rain likely on Tuesday and Thursday otherwise it should be dry with temperatures in the low twenties.
Central and eastern areas will have more sun and warmer temperatures, getting hotter and more humid the further south and east you are with a constant threat of storms brewing, this increasing later in the week.
