UK Look Ahead
16th September 2018

A notiable difference this week in the weather compared to what we are used to will be the strength of the wind.
Overnight Monday into Tuesday will see a period of very strong winds in the south and up the western side as ex tropical storm Helene moves up the western side. It will also be wet in the west.
The storm quickly moves away to be replaced by a spell of rain and continued strong winds in the north which will slowly move south and east by Wednesday.
Continuing wet and windy for the north into the weekend but high pressure will settle things down in the south.
Overall, temperatures will be on the warm side, perhaps very warm in the south east in any sunshine.
