Any computer boffins able to help?
I upgraded the RAM in my MacBook Pro today from 4GB to 8GB (2x 4GB sticks now). I had 8 before but one stick died so I ran it on 4 for a while until I bought a new stick.
I added the new stick just fine but my MacBook is now dead. Not even the battery indicator lights come on and it won't charge.
I removed the stick again but no luck. So I've taken it to a local computer shop who do free inspections but seemed mystified by the problem I described. They'll get back to me on Monday.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what it might be?
