Quite ironic that both GFS and ECM are showing the exact pattern we crave for in mid winter(Mid Atlantic Greenland ridge combined with Scandi trough) during April, infact the GFS even has a chart showing widespread snow and sub zero nightime temperatures for mid April....typical! A below average April looking increasingly likely for me with snow by no means out of the question.
