I don't know how to say this any better than to write a poem. I'm trying to make my garden into a permaculture paradise, where all that is wild and beautiful lives side by side with my lifestyle, my chickens...the way I see life, and celebrate it.
I walk up the garden
And see so much that grows
My feelings of contentment
Just looking at the sloes.
I walk a long path of learning
The twists and turns of green
All has a loving place here
All is loved, and seen.
I work to love my garden
And it always loves me back
It gives me so much joy to be here
I never feel a lack
I wish I could describe to you
The way it makes me feel
To feel the earth under my feet
It's the way I love to be
To touch, to taste, to be a part
Of what is all around
To find a time to appreciate
This sacred, earthy ground
I speak of earth, it calls to me
It calls to many, does it call to thee?
I know that I am blessed be
I share with you, so mote it be
Thank you if you read all this!
So many people in this forum are supportive, loving and caring. My thoughts tonight are for you, who help others without ever seeing their faces. It makes a difference. Thank you.
