Epic (Dangerous) thatched roof icicles

Post #1 by rephlex » Fri Jan 25, 2013 12:04 pm

Ok, so on the way to work i drive through a little village called Brixworth, in Northamptonshire. There is a pub there with a thatched roof which has given way to some of the best icicles on a property i have ever seen.. They were a little longer yesterday but i couldnt stop as there was loadsa traffic and i was running late.. so i stopped this morning and took a few snaps of the rather menacing dangerous looking things.. ... Personally, i think the pub should knock them off before they impale someone. Would a call to the local police (on non 999 number of course) be warranted do you think?

If you cant make them out to clearly, you can click the "full size" image link underneath to see them at original resolution.
