Your last White Christmas

Post #1 by LeeUK » Tue Dec 08, 2009 8:05 pm

Hello all,

With the chaos about to begin regarding the odds of a snowy Xmas, I'm just wondering when your last White Christmas was.

Here in Widnes, Cheshire, we last had snow on Christmas day in 2004. I was in the ale house on Christmas Eve (losing a fight with a bottle of sambuca) and someone walked in covered in snow! We ran outside to take a look, and everywhere was white!!! There was about 2inches of snow on the ground! It continued snowing till about 2am (Xmas day) and by Xmas morning it had mostly melted, but hey.... still classed as a white Christmas! :)
