“At the southern tip of Norway, mainly in the Agder counties, they are expecting up to 1 m (more than 3 ft) of snow during this weekend,” says reader Dag from Ringerike. “This is because a high pressure system over Scandinavia is blocking the moisture moving in from the North Sea and UK. So they are at the crossroad.”

Today, the authorities had to stop 80 trucks from moving in those counties, because the snow pouring down made the roads difficult the clean up and many of those trucks did not had winter tyres.
