Climate publications and research papers

Post by DemonDaz » Sat Jan 05, 2013 4:52 am

I hope this is ok with everyone and no one minds me doing this.
I was trawling through posts and browsing the Internet when I came a cross this by Chris Monckton titled "Hockey stick? What hockey stick?" and it's about the ipcc climate change (warming/climate panic) papers and how global warming scenario was stated. Quite an interestin read, tell me what you tHink :) ... _stick.pdf
Also if you have any links to research papers please post a link to them, there's so much knowledge to be gained from a lot of them.
Although this isn't a paper as such it's a good read, it's a SSW event list with animations
http://curriculum.pmartineau.webfaction ... nimations/
[*]Strospheric warming response times ... l_2002.pdf
This next paper suggests that SSW's are more likely in ENSO event years rather than ENSO neutral years. ... L-2011.pdf
There is a follow up paper to this but couldn't find it
[*]Met office link to their glosea4
Stratospheric computer modelling system ... mitted.pdf
Stratospheric polar vortices ... e-2010.pdf
Blocking Precursors to SSW events ... _id=139983

These are my favourites from NW and elsewhere hope you enjoy
