Halley's Comet - Northants

Post #1 by rephlex » Tue Oct 21, 2014 12:36 pm

.
Presumably others will be able to see it too, not just Northants.. weather permitting..

Halley’s Comet is set to light up Northamptonshire’s night sky.

The comet, which is usually seen once every 75 years, was not due to make an appearance again until 2061.

But a trail of Halley’s cosmic dust is expected to be visible to the naked eye tonight and tomorrow – wowing stargazers across the county.
