Winter 1985/86

Post #1 by Snowsthebest » Mon Sep 02, 2013 7:03 pm

My favourite memories of a really snowy winter in Plymouth are 1985/86 ,or at least one great big snow fall probably about afoot deep.I can remember being in school and living very near I was one of the few that came in ,all the kids were put in one class .At about half past ten the snow started to really come down so we were all sent home. The snow kept on for about five hours really heavy. It was deep enough for dad to try to build an igloo! Haven't had anything like it since , fingers crossed for this year. :ympray: :D
