Unsettled, better by next weekend.
This week will be unsettled as remnants of tropical storms move over the UK.
Monday will see heavy rain move into the west and then stall as it moves east, wet in the west and central areas dry in the east. Tuesday the best day of the week countrywide with sunny spells. Further rain and strong winds move south east on Wednesday and then it's back to sunshine for most on Thursday but still damp in the north. By the end of the week high pressure moves in from the west so an improving picture from the south and west with temperatures climbing into the low 20s.
