Do You Store?

Post #1 by GrannyGrottbags » Wed Oct 31, 2012 9:27 am

Do you store food up? have a well stocked pantry?, I keep tins and dried stuffs in a big pantry for use when i cant be bothered to make things from scratch and for winter use and emergencies. Winter is the biggest thing stuff gets saved for. I make my own bread every day so i buy flour by the sack, have sugar in a bucket and a bucket of lentils is always in my pantry lol. I invested in a pressure canner too from amazon, its an american jobby but it was the best thing i ever got, i already make my own jams, jellies, pickles and chutneys and keep a small store of at least two 8 inch fruit cakes well fed ;) 'hic :ymblushing:
