Breadmakers
Hi all, I've got a Cookworks breadmaker which it says does a 2lb loaf. This translates into an 800g loaf. However, put my 800g loaf next to a Tesco 800g loaf and mine is half the size.
I'm looking to see if baking my own bread (I know I'm cheating using the breadmaker but I work long hours) is cheaper than buying store bought. I'd also like to cut down on the preservatives, salt and crap that's in packaged bread.
Can anyone shed any light on why my 800g loaf is so tiny? I'd like ti have a much larger loaf - I'm happy to buy a new breadmaker but I don't want to buy the wrong size if I do have to!

It's snowed so hard here I can't find where I parked my unicorn....
